Hi Everyone! It's Sara, your friendly neighborhood BEYOND Blog writer, editor, and manager. I know, it's been a bit since I've been posting consistently and want to apologize for the long absence. Primarily, it has just been life that has been busier than planned both professionally and personally.
In case you haven't heard, 2024 is a BIG year for Ingham Okoboji Lutheran Bible Camps! We are celebrating our 100th Anniversary! What started as a Bible School to train Sunday School teachers on the shores of a rural lake held in tents among the trees has become a year round ministry with two locations and welcoming youth, families, and retreat guests of all ages.
As we journey through 2024, we will be highlighting the stories of God's work in the lives of people who have come through IOLBC's doors in the last 100 years. I know it's a bit different than what we have been doing in the last few years but we hope you'll stick with us and be encouraged by seeing the work of God in the lives of others through this ministry.
I also want to invite those who have stories of God working in their lives through IOLBC to share them with us. We know there are many out there and that God often continues to use the time at camp to change lives BEYOND the week or weekend you are here for camps and retreats.
